In order for the righteousness of God to be revealed, we must first recognize how the wrath of God has been revealed.

Because we’ve exchanged the glory of God for mere idols, we must repent and turn to Christ.

Because we have exchanged God’s truth for falsehood, we must repent and turn to Christ.

Because we have exchanged God’s created order for disorder, we must repent and turn to Christ.

God displays his wrath by simply handing us over to what we have chosen.

Because Jesus took our sins upon himself in that mighty work of redemption on the cross, we can exchange our filthy rags of sin for the white garments of his righteousness.
